The HEALTH MANAGEMENT project’s kick off meeting was held in Osijek on 17th of January 2012. Prof. Dr. Aleksandar Včev, the Dean of the J.J.Strossmayer University of Osijek and Prof. Dr. Attila Miseta, the Dean of the University of Pecs Medical School officially announced the project’s starting.
Both deans emphasized the it is in the mutual interest of the Hungarian - Croatian regional cross-border cooperation to develop a coordinated policy and launch joint actions on the field of health care and related human resource capacity building capable facing with both challenges: Croatia’s accession to the EU and Hungary’s task as new Schengen country.
The two project teams set the workshops dates and planned the next steps of the project.
